Editors, Kenneth J. Fasching-Varner and Estanislado S. Barrera, IV are pleased to release the latest issue of the e-Journal of Balanced Reading Instruction. This special issue focuses on connecting balanced literacy and culturally relevant pedagogy. We are also excited to be offering our first educator profile on Meredith Labadie, an outstanding kindergarten teacher who implements balanced literacy in her classroom.
