Powerful writing transforms lives. To build budding writers, students need good models of texts. Effective questions, quality writing, and mentor texts provide students with ways to develop ideas. By scaffolding the writing process, students learn to create their own style. This SIG will discuss how teachers use texts across grade levels to build students' writing craft.
